Nazareth College
Founded in 1924 by the Sisters of St. Joseph, Nazareth was originally a women’s college, but in the 1970s the college officially became independent of the Sisters and became co-ed. Located outside the village of Pittsford and down East Avenue from St. John Fisher, the campus doubled in size in 2000, allowing the construction of the Golisano Academic Center and new apartment living for upperclassmen.
