worst winter storm experience
so, everyone has their worst winter storm experience….what’s yours? Mine has to be this one that just hit. Getting stuck going in and out of parking spots all night long wasn’t fun. My friend and I pretty much ventured around the parking lot for two nights helping push people out of parking spots.

Mine was when I was traveling to Montreal for spring break. I parked next to the hostel where the guy from reception told me I could. After a long day of exploring the city, I come back to the hostel to find my car gone. Naturally, I freaked because 1) it’s my brand new 2007 Volkswagen rabbit, 2) I’m still paying for it on a college student’s budget, and 3) I’m around 400 miles away from home. I found out from the hostel that since there was a snowstorm the night before, they just moved my car so they could clear the road. Bad thing was that they moved my car onto a 2-foot pile of snow. I couldn’t get out the next day when I was ready to leave. I literally had to dig my car out of the snow and have two random guys come and help push my car out of the snowdrift.
