Prep for the big game
Your favorite team is on TV. Hockey. Football. Baseball. Maybe even ice skating. Whatever sport you watch, you’ve got to prep for the big game!
Step 1: Invite some friends
The key to having an exciting game is having friends. The more friends you have to shout and scream with – or cry with, the more energy you build. Having good energy levels during the game is not only key to keeping the game exciting, but also fun to watch. Make sure you invite friends who are cheering for the opposing team as well. It’s okay to cheer for your team when they win against the opposing team.
Step 2: Buy food
Buy food you and your friends like. Buying carrots, celery sticks and dip for a group of friends that like chips, soda and pizza is not the way to go. Get something that appeals for the majority. If you’re the only one who likes carrots and celery, get it for yourself and get your friends something of their own. People can’t focus on a game if their stomachs are empty and growling.
Step 3: The right gear
Got foam fingers? Jerseys? Maybe you even have face paint. Whatever accessories you have, bring them out. Utilize the fan memorabilia you’ve spent so much money on. A $30 long-sleeved shirt might be a small number, but a replica jersey ranging over $100 should be used. Everyone knows wearing an authentic jersey around pizza and soda is not a smart idea, especially when they can cost more than $200. So bring anything that can get dirty without you getting upset, and cheer your heart out.
Step 4: The end
By this time, your team has either won or lost. If they’ve loss, kick out the friend who’s team did win. Gloating enemies are always bad to be around. Pat your friends on the back, because you’re not the only ones who feels the blow of this loss. If your team has won, then you know what to do. Jump! Scream! Then, innocently turn around to your friend who opposes your team and say, “It’s okay to lose every now and then.”
